It is a fun-filled, interactive summer camp exploring the great outdoors featuring hikes, scavenger hunts, weekly themes, games and crafts. Register for one day, one week, or every week!

It’s the opening of the new Exhibit, From Crystals to Gems! On May 5th, 9 am to 4 pm, explore the fascinating world of nature’s crystals and find out how they grow and differ in form and colour. Experience the beauty of gemstones and learn what makes them unique in this travelling exhibit from the National Museum of Nature.

Members of the Niagara Peninsula Geological Society will have touch displays and will identify rocks, minerals and fossils for visitors. A demonstration of jewellry maiking with stone will also be featured.

Regular admission $5.75 for Adults, $4.25 for seniors and students, children 5 years and under are free.

Saturday, April 28th Let’s you Mix Fact with Fiction at Ball’s Falls

Join author Gordon Anderson at Ball’s Falls and the Centre for Conservation, Saturday, April 28th, 1 pm to 2 pm, as he presents his new book of fiction, Beyond the Great Water, set in the War of 1812. Speak with the author and enter the realm where history meets imagination. Don’t forget to take advantage of the opportunity to buy and autographed copy.

Usher in the lovely weather with new hours at Ball’s Falls starting May 1st. Gates to the park in front of the Centre for Conservation will be open 8 am to 8 pm. The Centre for Conservation is open 9 am until 4 pm featuring exhibits, gift shop and snacks. You’ll be able to tour the historical buildings from 10 am to 4 pm. Visit and see what we have to offer.

Ball’s Falls is Open Easter Weekend!

Looking for a great hike for the family Easter Weekend? Ball’s Falls and the Centre for Conservation is open 9 am to 4 pm. Enjoy the cascading upper and lower falls. Walk through the historical park, take in the Pathways to Peace exhibit, and have a coffee or hot chocolate at the gift shop. It is a great outing for the whole family… you might even see an Easter Bunny on the trails… or the Easter garter snake?.

On April 22nd, Join us for Earth Day at Ball’s Falls. The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority is proud to present a special day of activities, free with regular admission. Build and decorate your bird nesting box to take home or donate back to NPCA… stewardship projects; build and decorate your own Toad Home to take home; enjoy guided tours of the Ball Family Grist Mill; experience guided Eco-tours to the picturesque Upper Falls, and much more. Complementary NPCA magnets and plant guides are available while supplies last.

Enjoy a light lunch and enjoy Earth Day in a whole new way!
